No. They shouldn’t die for an American cause. Nor for an Economic cause. However oppression from FREEDOM in all it’s forms needs addressing. Be it economic or religious. or both. My father served in World War 2, The Korean War, with NATO, and with the Canadian Armed Forces, until his retirement. He understood what “war” was and what “peacekeeping” was. He mourned the loss of many friends. He was rightfully proud of himself as a peacekeeper. He respected a “peacetime” army. The U.S.’s “Blitzkrieg” method of attack in WW2 was the same method used by the Germans and polarized European opinion against them. “Shock and Awe” still remains the dominant military and economic strategy. Certain media are still manipulating people to support this. Many “non combatants” continue to starve intellectually and die unnecessarily.
