Kitty Hawk Kayaks, our namesake, is the oldest and most respected kayak tour operator on the Outer Banks. We also train all our staff according to the American Canoe/Kayak Association to give instruction. (http://www.americancanoe.org/) They have also received extensive training on local flora and fauna from the National Park Service, The Coastal Land Trust and other environmental experts to make every tour and enriching, educational experience. We have thoroughly scouted out all our tour areas and are very familiar with the natural environments, wildlife and weather conditions typical of those sites.
