That is irrelevant. Whatever you decide about reality and morality you can decide but you are nonetheless still repsonsible. When someone cries ‘Help, I’m drowning” maybe he’s kidding, maybe it’s a mirage…but you are responsible if it turns out you are the cause of his death. It is totally irrelevant. You are trying to turn a moral issue into an epistemological issue. That sort of thing used to make Socrates and Plato really pissed 🙂 A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true.
