Why some hispanic look caucasian/white?
Yes, whiter people are more frequent among people above the poverty line. Unlike the wrong impression many people in developed countries have, people with a white complexion are fairly frequent in Spanish America, even though many of them are of mixed descendancy and have a relatively small percentage of Indian descendancy. The people in Argentina and Uruguay look whiter because a greater proportion of Indians were eradicated by the Spanish immigrants centuries ago and because there have been many European inmigrants. In Argentina and Uruguay there are many descendants of Italian immigrants.
