Why study with the Ruskin Research Centre?
We are a thriving research centre based within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Lancaster University, and can offer MA and PhD students a unique range of benefits. Students completing research degrees with us will have access to the Ruskin Library and its special facilities and collections. As we are a dedicated centre, all staff, both based within the Centre or associated with us (e.g. are part of other departments within the university), have an interest in Ruskin-related study, and a strong research background in the area. By its nature, Ruskin studies is multi-disciplinary, and as such, we are able to offer programmes of study that reflect this. Our MA modules are based around a variety of disciplines, such as Art History, Religious Studies, English Literature and Sociology.
