Why there are skips, stutters, or gaps in the MP3 audiobooks converted by NoteBurner?

It is recommended that you burn Audible content at lower burn speeds. The lower the burn speed the smaller the possibility that there are errors in the burn process. The higher the burn speed the more the possibility of the audio having skips, stutters, or gaps in the audio. iTunes users can change the burn speed. In iTunes, select the Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Burning, change the Preferred Speed from Maximum to a slower option. For the best quality recording, we recommend downloading Audible content in format 4. For dial-up users, we recommend using format 2 or to record CD’s. Format 1 is not supported by iTunes. Note: If MP3 CD or Data CD is selected, you will receive an error message when attempting to burn Audible content.
