For ovulation monitoring, Dr. Berger recommends using an ovulation predictor kit. This is a urine test the wife performs at home to predict when she will ovulate. You should call the office to report your LH surge, so that an appointment can be scheduled for you to be seen on that day. This is the most critical day in your cycle for ovulation monitoring, which may include a cervical mucus exam, blood tests, and an ultrasound.
