Why use NGK spark plugs for mileage?

They have normal resistance levels in the V-Power plugs. Other plugs usually have 30,000 to 90,000 ohms of resistance. That is horribly high and they lose their amperge. Amps is what make the fuel ignite so you need as much amperage as possible. Not less. You cannot measure resistance in used plugs. Check new plugs for resistance values no more than 7000 ohms. Spark plug cables should contribute about 5000 ohms. The heat to fire the mixture comes from the milliamps in the spark. High resistance hurts the amperage so we have to also close the gap to .030 for best results. When we drill the NGK plugs, we always see a boost in MPG and performance.
