Email is still one of the most popular applications for the Internet, with the majority of all Internet users owning an email account. Providing web-based and/or POP3/IMAP-accessible email accounts is the top priority of ISP’s and the IT departments of many businesses and educational institutions. Business relies on email communication between clients, customers and employees. The traditional desktop email application has become replaced by Webmail in terms of usage. Countless websites offer free email accounts as a way to attract users and keep them coming back. In 1998 we saw a lack of quality and customisable WebMail programs, so Atmail was developed to fill the void. Since then, we have endeavoured to offer a commercial source-code-distributed program that is based on client feedback and always features the latest technologies.
