Why was Jim arrested in New Haven, Conneticut?
On December 9, 1967, the Doors were scheduled to play a concert in New Haven, Conneticut. Jim Morrison had turned 24 years of age the day before. His birthday had not been a joyous occasion because the Doors concert on December 8 in Troy, New York had been a huge disappointment. The Troy crowd did not respond well to Jim Morrison and the applause after the concert died quickly. In fact, there was no encore at this concert. The Doors departed quickly and Jim decided to take a limo all the way back to New York city instead of taking the plane.
