Why were the Allies able to defeat Germany & Japan in WWII?

0

The Axis was outnumbered and outgunned. The Allies controlled most of the world’s population, resources, and industry. The U.S. was the world’s largest economy, the Soviets were the world’s largest army, and Britain was the world’s largest empire. They were backed up by 50+ other countries and countless colonies containing vast reserves of men and almost all of the world’s oil. The US, USSR, China, and India combined contained more than half of the world’s populaton, and that’s not counting the numerous other Allied countries. Germany built the superior tank and had technology the Allies were years away from – but they just couldn’t churn out tanks, planes, ships, and guns the way American factories could.
