Why Work with TYC?
The Youth Campus (TYC) is a licensed, accredited, not-for-profit organization dedicated to children in need since 1877. We are one of the few specialized foster care programs in the State of Illinois. We need people who want to make a difference in a child’s life by fostering or adopting that child. What’s Involved? Foster and adoptive parents care for a child in need, both physically and emotionally. By doing so, they inspire hope and improve the future for a child. To welcome a child into your life, TYC offers a number of opportunities based on the child’s needs. Assuring enough quality time with a child is important in all families. Time commitments for successful fostering differ by child. Successful foster parents participate in training and devote time to the special needs of the child.
