Will Agraria address the coming financial crisis of Social Security?
One could view social security not as a savings account but as a system dependent on a growing population. If the population or population growth declines, Society Security will probably fail. Residents of Agraria may be encouraged to plan for a common future supporting multiple generations. Will we provide medical care? As peak oil occurs, America’s healthcare crisis will worsen and more and more people won’t be able to afford it. There will instead be more of a focus on preventative care and living healthy lifestyles. Because Agrarian residents will eat healthier, walk and bicycle often, and engage in more physcial labor, they will rely on conventional medical care much less. How much will we make at Agraria? Agrarians will probably earn less money on the average. But they will be interested in low income activities and frugal living for the sake of the world or their children.
