No it wouldn’t An NTSC game (or even movie) would be displayed as black and white on a standard PAL television. This is because countries that use NTSC have everything encoded to a different standard than PAL. So a UK TV for example is programmed to display a different type of signal, so NTSC isn’t compatible. The converter changes this, It converts the NTSC signal the game sends to your TV to a more compatible signal. For the game, you’d need to insert a modchip or use swap magic discs. You’d probably still need the NTSC to PAL converter though if your TV isn’t NTSC compatible.
