Yes. Tax revenue will be generated during construction, through payroll taxes, and through business equipment taxes. Sales and employee taxes will also be generated during the operational phases of the project. During plant operation, taxes will include local property taxes paid to Robbinston and Washington County and corporate taxes paid to the State of Maine.
