Will my child have to stop taking his/her prescribed medication to participate in research at the Nisonger Center?
It depends on the study. For some studies being conducted at the Nisonger Center your child with be able to continue his/her current medications when participating in the research study. However, for some studies, your child may be asked to discontinue his/her current medication order to evaluate the benefit of the study treatment for your child.
