Will my Web site stop working if I transfer my domain name to NameSecure? What happens to my domain name server information during the transfer in process?
NameSecure’s transfer is system is smart enough to leave your name server information the same as it was before the transfer. We do not automatically assume you want to use our name servers. This is so, because if you have a live Web site, changing the name servers to our default NameSecure name servers would result in your site going down – which you don’t want. Of course, if you DO want to use NameSecure’s reliable name servers, you can make changes at any time through the My Account Manager, or by contacting our Customer Service Team. If you do transfer your domain name to NameSecure, we can’t guarantee that you site won’t experience a few intermittent issues for a day or so, but NameSecure’s transfer method minimizes any potential issues you may have with our thoughtful processing of the transfer that leaves your DNS as it was before the transfer.
