Will Robin Wright, Ashely Judd or Diane Lane play the lead in Tracy Lynch Brittons The Thicket?
We heard that producers of The Thicket, a psychological thriller to be directed by Tracy Lynch Britton, are in talks with actresses Robin Wright, Diane Lane and Ashley Judd for a lead role. The Thicket is written by Tracy Lynch Britton with Dennis Poore, and recounts the true story of a young girl in a small superstitious town in Texas in 1962 who wants so desperately to be accepted by the boy’s secret club that risks her life and soul to enter ‘the thicket’ – a supposedly haunted woods where people have vanished mysteriously. According to Britton, The Thicket actually exists in East Texas and it is one of the scariest places on earth – similar to the infamous “Bermuda Triangle” – people have gone in there and never come out!
