Will the Fieldhouse be managed differently?
Yes. The extensive investment of student resources calls for increased accountability. Access to the facility will be controlled, similar to Dixon Recreation Center. The Fieldhouse will be staffed from noon to midnight on weekdays, from 9am to 10pm on Saturdays, and from 10am to midnight on Sundays. Other times will be available for group access, as well. User groups such as ROTC units will manage the building during their scheduled time outside of open-use hours. Discussions continue to ensure access needs are being met for all users.
