Will the recent announcement about the Defence Force Recruiting contract impact my application?
You may have seen some news reports announcing that the Defence contract with Chandler Macleod Group for the provision of ADF recruiting services has been terminated by agreement. Defence assures anyone concerned about this development that there is a robust business continuity plan in place. The Department will now work with CMG to maintain Navy, Army and Air Force recruiting until other arrangements are finalised. All applicants for enlistment and appointment to the Australian Defence Force can be assured that their applications will continue to be processed and that this current situation will not affect them joining the Navy, Army or Air Force.
