A- Printing to a LPT printer port is not supported however there are three methods you can use to print using NCD ThinSTAR products under Windows Terminal Services. Select only one of the three methods of printing and disable the other two. Disabling RDP printing or ICA printing involves settings on the Terminal Server Host, not on the ThinSTAR. Enabling more than one method will cause problems when printing to the ThinSTAR. Printing using NCD ThinPATH Plus: • The serial and parallel ports are accessible using NCD ThinPATH Plus from the Terminal Server computer on the network. NCD ThinPATH Plus is a separate client server program that makes virtual ports on the Windows Terminal Server that are connected over the network to a ThinSTAR or PC’s local serial or parallel ports. NCD ThinPATH Plus can be used with either RDP or ICA connections. This software can be downloaded for evaluation from our Download Center.
