witches or.. wiccans really have a Book of Shadows?

Yes, many of us keep a Book of Shadows. Some call it a Grimoire. Over time, my one binder expanded into three binders to hold the growing number of pages being added every year, and to keep the info organized better. However, some, in these modern times and in order to be kinder to the environment by conserving paper, have a “Floppy Disk of Shadows”, or a “CD Rom of Shadows” (some are even updating to the “Flash Drive of Shadows”.) I stopped printing out *everything* for my books a couple of years ago – I print out a few things that I absolutely want in there, and organize other info that I don’t refer to for reference as often on disk. It is commonly recommended to put in the year and a day study at least before dedicating yourself to the path of Wicca and/or witchcraft. But you could start your own Book of Shadows when you begin your studies. Your book will grow and evolve over time just as you do along your spiritual journey.
