With an RTR kit do I still need to take some of it apart and use Loctite on the screws?

No. Although for preventative measures it is a good idea to Loctite any metal-to-metal screws. The extreme vibration produced by the high RPM’s of nitro motors increase the chances of a screw backing out. Better safe than sorry.
