Right, let’s get this straight. SOME PS1 games can be saved on a PS2 memory card as long as you’re playing them on a PS2, and I know for a fact that FF7 is one of them as I have saved an FF7 file to my (official) PS2 memory card. Most PS1 games will not work however, and so if you want to play anything else I would recommend getting a separate memory card for them; PS1 cards cost next to nothing these days.
