Would growing my own tobacco make a safer cigarette?
Regardless of your opinion about the safety issues involving tobacco, I think a person could grow tobacco and have a better product, as well as probably a safer product. At least the home grower would know what chemicals had been used in its production. If I were so inclined I would look at it the same way as growing any other garden product. Garden products are usually much better that those from the supermarket.The main caveat with the home production of tobacco would be in its curing. I understand that it is a fairly difficult process to cure it well.
