There will definitely be local speakers at the center, as most of our teachers are local and we have local Indonesian volunteers as well that come to help out at the center. The children too will be native speakers, and it is a good way for them to learn English by having someone who can communicate in both languages. Q: I would like more detail on the curriculum taught at the schools, particularly Bali and the other Indonesian schools, since that is where we are going. I would enjoy shopping for materials that would be helpful in teaching the children, but I have no idea what they already have and what else would be useful. A: The children at the Bali centre are at such different age and ability levels you will surely get something that is useful to one group or another. Some are learning colours and items.
