    Snowman Pizza

    What you need

    • Dough
    • 3 1/2 Cups whole wheat flour
    • 1 Cup white flour
    • 2 Tsp. active dry yeast
    • 1 Tsp. sugar
    • 1 1/4 Tsp. salt
    • 1 1/2 Tsp. olive oil
    • 1/4 Tsp. garlic powder
    • 2 Cups water
    • 1/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese
    • Tomato sauce
    • Capers
    • Carrots
    • Pepperoni
    • Mozzarella Cheese

    How to prepare

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

First, mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add water, a little at a time. Knead mixture until dough is firm and smooth. Use olive oil to grease the bowl and place dough ball in bowl. Turn the dough once so all surfaces are oiled. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm spot until double in size+. This usually takes about 2 hours.

Make the snowman pizza by placing dough on a well-floured surface. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out three different size circles to form each snowman using pastry cutters or drinking glasses. Assemble the snowman on a baking pan. Attach the circles by pressing together.

Add the sauce, cheese and Snowman decorations. To decorate, cut the pepperoni into scarves, piecing two pieces together.  Make noses by cutting tiny carrot triangles. Use the capers as eyes and buttons.

Place pan in oven and bake for 10 minutes or until crust is cooked.

    To Serve

Place snowman on a plate and serve with a side of fruit or carrot sticks.

    Turkey Muffins

    What you need

    • Pumpkin muffins
    • Red apple
    • Green apple
    • Sliver of carrot
    • Squeezable icing — eyes

    How to prepare

Cut a slice from the side of each apple. Set flat and cut squared-off, tapered feathers.

Cut a small beak from a slice of carrot. Make a slit in the end of a green grape. Insert carrot beak into the grape.

Have kids poke small ends of apple feathers into the muffins. Put the head on muffin, resting on the muffin tin. Add tiny dot eyes with black icing.

    To serve

Put a turkey muffin on each child’s plate and let them enjoy!
