One year has passed since a fire caused Luci’s Healthy Marketplace to close its doors on July 17, 2009. To celebrate the revival of the restaurant and to commemorate their anniversary, Luci’s is hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on Sunday, July 18, 2010.
Luci’s Healthy Marketplace, located on the northwest corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix, is a unique market featuring quality organic and natural products. Luci’s began as a marketplace and coffee bar, but has also added a quick service restaurant with a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items since it re-opened. Specialty sandwiches, homemade soups, wraps and more are available for lunch and breakfast items are served all day.
Come out and celebrate the anniversary of Luci’s and enjoy free food samples and other fun on Sunday, July 18. Lucia Schnitzer (Luci) speaks on the Customer Appreciation Day event: “We are very thankful for those customers who have stuck with us and supported us during our transition stage. We are blessed to have our regular customers as well as those who experience Luci’s for the first time. It’s to the local community that we owe our success and growth, making Luci’s what it is today.“
From open to close, Luci’s is offering a 10% discount on all marketplace and coffee bar items. From 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., enjoy free house coffee and house iced tea. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., live music will be playing while you can enjoy free food samples. Free face painting, milk, cookies and a coloring contest for kids will also kick off at this time. Three gift card raffles will be completed throughout the day and well as other prize giveaways.
