Are there enough homes for everyone who wants to live in Snowdonia?
Many people in Snowdonia are concerned that there are not enough homes for younger people to buy. Wages in Snowdonia are low but the house prices are very high. This is most probably for several reasons: • people want to move out into the country from a town or city. They may have sold an expensive home and can afford to pay higher prices for a new place to live. • people stay on in council houses so these are no longer available for others to live in. • many of the smallest houses are sold as holiday homes.
