Although JON 1.4.SP2 does officially provide support for a standalone instance of Tomcat 6, it is not autodiscovered. It must be manually added to the inventory. The following steps may be used to manually add an entry for a Tomcat 6.0 server: • Navigate to the platform on which the Tomcat 6.0 instance resides. • Click the “New Server” link in the top right. • Enter a name for the server. • For “Server Type” select “Tomcat 6.0” • Fill in the Install Path to point to the Tomcat 6.0 instance on the platform. • Click OK.
