Can move out at the age of 17 and move in with a friend?
You certainly could move in with a friend but, at the age of 17, I would certainly advise you to think long and hard about doing this. You might feel it better to be away from parents questioning you all the time or brothers and sisters and being free to do what you like, but it might be a different story when you are faced with rent and bills and trying to make the relationship work as well. Your immediate family network should be able to provide you with a home and support at the present time. If they cannot, however, and if you feel it is unsafe to stay at home for one reason or another, then that is a different matter.
