Can the dsi play the normal nintendo ds lite games?
A more complete answer. The DSi does not have a GBA slot. So it cannot play GBA games or use GBA-slot peripherals. Games where they’re optional (rumble pack, memory pack, Pokemon trading functionality with older games, old-school-like paddles, etc.) will not be usable, but the games can still be played without that functionality. Games that require the use of peripherals (Guitar Hero) will not be able to be played. Other than that, yes. The DSi will be able to play the games.
