Yes. Unfortunately, this can and does happen. There does not have to be bleeding or any other signs. “Missed Miscarriage: Women can experience a miscarriage without knowing it. A missed miscarriage is when embryonic death has occurred but there is not any expulsion of the uterus. It is not known why this occurs. There were no symptoms whatsoever.
