Hi Rituparna,

Expertise points awarded to users currently are used to prove to others you have some knowledge or true expertise in a topic. A user that wants to demonstrate their expertise to others gains expertise points in their topic by answering questions in the topic, writing articles on the topic, and filling out details in their profile related to the topic. These points currently help you advance to different expertise levels which provide you more tools and functionality on the site.

Earnings currently are separate from expertise points. We are building out programs though that will reward the top experts in expertise points but its unrelated to previous earnings programs we ran which were never tied to expertise points.

We will be providing additional details and testimonials of how people have built a following in their expertise and went on to earn more money. Experts123 now really is used as a tool to demonstrate expertise and proof of that expertise. At the same time we are reaching out to the community as well to look at rewarding top experts with additional promotion to help them build their audience and monetize their expertise related to their services and knowledge products such as books and courses.
