Does anyone else think this woman with her muslim veil is making an anti-western stand?
NO I THINK THEY ARE TAKING THIS VEIL THING TO FAR EITHER LIVE HERE UNDER OUR LAWS WE ARE A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY NOT ISLAM JEWISH OR ANY OTHER FREE FOR ALL RELIGION.IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH THE LAWS GO BACK WE WONT MISS YOU.IF YOU WANT TO TRY AND TEACH CHILDREN COMMON SENCE SAYS YOU NEED TO SEE THE MOUTH TO MAKE THE WORDS. IF YOU WANT TO WEAR THE VEIL THAN DO IT IN A MUSLIM STATE NOT MIDDLE OF BURNLEY ALTHOUGH THE AMOUNT OF MUSLIMS THERE SHOULD WE NOT SAY LITTLE PAKISTAN. ANYHOW SHE SHOULD PAY HER OWN LEGAL FEES SHE CAUSED THE PROBLEM . SHE LOST THE TRIBUNAL AND AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THATS THE END OF THE MATTER.I PERSONNALY WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE I COULD NOT SEE THE FACE OF.SORRY BUT THATS HOW I FEEL NO WAY SHOULD WE PAY.!!!!
Many Islamic states also ban the wearing of the veil so she woudl have difficulty finding somewhere else that would allow her to wear it. While I do not agree that the veil should be banned, it should be like any other fashion item when it comes to work – i.e. your employer decides whether its acceptable or not. The veil is not worn for religious reasons but is a throwback to a desert culture. The UK has no deserts and does not subscribe to these cultural beliefs so it is unreasonable for anyone to object to being asked to remove their veil. If you want to live in the UK then you must accept our culture. When I am in an Islamic state I dress differently because I do not want to give offence and because I respect their culture. Veil wearers are disrespectful of the UK culture. I fully support Kirklees Council and hope this woman has her *** kicked in the European Court.
