Yes, MELPe does utilize some level of forward error correction codes (FEC) incorporated in the MELPe bit-stream. Beyond that, you may add your own error correction and/or encryption. 13.2 Q: What about Frame Erasure, Burst Error, and Error Concealment? A: Our MELPe is “packetized-network-ready”.
