How can I use sounds from multiple Image Synth preset libraries in a montage?
The MetaSynth Montage Room links Image Synth presets to their sound by the name and generally expects the preset library and sound file to be in the same folder; and it expects that sound file as the default name. Because of this fact, there are a few things to keep in mind: Use Render and Save to render the preset as a sound file. MetaSynth will automatically save it into the same folder as the preset library AND will give it the correct name. Do note use Save As to rename the sound if you expect MetaSynth to be able to link a sound file to its source Image Synth Preset. The default name is either “Sound xx” (where xx is the preset number) if the preset does not hava a name or “PresetName xx” if the preset has a name. To name a preset, select a preset in the Image Synth and type ‘?’ to display the preset name and info dialog. We recommend that you use only one preset library per montage.
