In the Image Synth, why do some sounds that are panned to the middle have a stereo depth?
In Preferences, there is a preference for phase randomization. When either of the stereo modes is selected, the left and right channels will be randomized independently. The result is a pleasant chorus-like widening of the stereo field. Use one of the mono modes if you prefer to keep the left and right channels in phase.
