How do I un-archive an e-mail item from the Symantec Enterprise Vault (EVault) back into my mailbox?
Un-Archiving Items from the Symantec Enterprise Vault (EVault): Note: These steps assume that you are currently connected to the university exchange environment, are using Microsoft Office 2003 and have the Symantec Enterprise Vault forms installed. 1. Open E-Vault by selecting to search or explore the EVault. Searching the E-Vault: • Go to the Tools menu choose Enterprise Vault and then Search Vault. or • If you have the EVault toolbar you can choose the icon to the far left that looks like a magnifying glass over a box, the Search Vault icon Exploring the EVault: • Go to the Tools menu choose Enterprise Vault and then Archive Explorer. or • If you have the EVault toolbar you can choose the icon in the middle that looks like a folder ad a small magnifying glass over a box, the Archive Explorer icon 2. The Symantec Enterprise Vault will open. Search or browse to the item(s) that you want to have returned to your mailbox. 3. Select the item and right click for menu options.
