If I archive an item to the Symantec Enterprise Vault (EVault) and then choose to restore it (or copy it) back into my active mail box… does it reset the timestamp for the 90 day archive?

Yes. Although the item will retain it’s original timestamp of sent/delivery/etc, the EVault timestamp to be re-archived automatically will be reset to 90 days. After 90 days more, the item will be automatically archived.
