How do spawn hosts work?
Any Strogg Technician can create a spawn host by using his spike tool (5) on a GDF body (unconscious or dead). You should see the progress indicator turn green and when the process is done, you should see a set of vanes sticking out vertically from the body. You can claim any free spawn host that you pass by standing next to it and clicking _activate. When a spawn host is claimed, the vanes will drop down to a 30 degree angle. Available spawn hosts will not show up on the command map, so you’ll have to find an unclaimed one if you want to use one.
