How Do You Clean An Adult Bath Sponge?
Odors, dirt and other particles can accumulate on an adult bath sponge that is left sitting outside a bathtub or shower. Placing these items in a washing machine may cause rips or tears in the sponge. A simple mixture can remove both germs and odors from your adult bath sponge without the sponge being torn or otherwise damaged by a washing machine. Fill a bucket or a sink with equal parts water and white distilled vinegar. Add 1 tbsp. of the bleach-free liquid dish soap to the liquid. Place the adult bath sponge in the bucket or sink. Make sure the entire sponge is submerged. Soak the sponge for about 30 minutes. Then, remove the sponge from the solution. Rinse the sponge thoroughly with water from the faucet. Inspect the bath sponge, and repeat the cleaning process if necessary. Hang the bath sponge so it can air-dry.
