How Do You Clean The Wax From Floor Buffer Pads?
Buffer pads can clean and polish a floor much more easily than you could do on your own with a mop, scrub brush, or similar items. The buffer spins in small circles to buff away excess wax and buildup, leaving nearly any floor type clean and polished. As the machine buffs away the wax from the floor, it can sometimes accumulate on the buffer pad itself, requiring the pad to be cleaned effectively. Cleaning the wax from the buffer pads is a fairly easy task that can be completed in just a few minutes. Remove the buffer pad from the buffing machine. The pad should slide of easily with a light pull of the pad. Place a paper towel on a counter top or ironing board. Place the buffer pad on the paper towel or ironing board, with the wax side facing upward. Place 5 paper towels on top of the wax, and allow the iron to heat up, using a steam setting. Place the iron onto the paper towels, pressing down for three seconds at a time while squirting a blast of steam onto the paper towels. Repeat th
