• Cook noodles or rice conventionally. • Combine onion and butter in shallow three to five at casserole. Cover. Microwave at high two to three minutes or until tender. • Stir in tomato sauce, cornstarch, sugar and seasonings. Add wine or water. • Place chicken pieces in casserole and spoon sauce over to coat. Cover. Microwave at high 17 to 21 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink, stirring twice during cooking. Remove chicken to serving platter. Stir cream and cheese into sauce. Pour sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with almonds and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve with noodles or rice.
