How Do You Re-Program A Craftsman Garage Door Keypad?
A widely used company for garage openers and accessories, Craftsman is among the top sellers in garage door keypads. These products are often placed on the outside of a garage, or inside a house, and allow secure access to a garage utilizing a passcode. This passcode is typed in to enter the garage, and the keypad must be programmed and reprogrammed to work with both the passcode and the garage motor. Unplug your garage opener motor from the electrical outlet that is providing its power. Find and flip the “Program/Operate” switch on your keypad. You may need to remove the keypad from its current location as the switch might be located somewhere on the nameplate. Turn the switch to “Program” and enter your four digit passcode into the keypad.
