How Do You Remove Sticky Tape Residue From Surfaces?

0

This is a quick and simple way to remove stickers, sticky labels, adhesive tape or other sticky residue off most any hard surfaces such as glass or plastic. Found right in your refrigerator peanut butter or mayonnaise can be used as a sticky stuff remover. This is a great green cleaning alternative to using noxious chemicals that will not damage most glass or plastic surfaces. Spread a thick layer of peanut butter or mayonnaise over the sticky label residue with a butter knife. Let this sit for at least an hour. For stubborn sticky residue, you can leave the peanut butter on the surface for several hours, or let it sit overnight. Use a sponge to wipe off the peanut butter (or mayonnaise). Once most of the peanut butter is removed, use the sponge to wash the surface with dish soap and water. Rub off any remaining sticky residue with the sponge or your fingers. The residue should come off easily now.
