Since the Public Act 25 of 1990, the cornerstone of school reform in Michigan has included the four interrelated components of core curriculum, school improvement, accreditation and annual reporting. Education YES! has been included as the accreditation component required in the annual reports since the 2003-2004 school year. Education YES! does not replace the other components.
