I am a former chef and go once a week here in Toronto Canada, if it is traditional be prepared to eat the food with your finger, they will give you “injera” a cross between a pita and pancake, it is used to scoop up the dishes, “Wat” a stew like dish is the best to order, they have beef, chicken, goat/lamb and some may offer seafood items, they have many veggie items to, spice wise it can be hot, but do request it milder if you are not into really fiery food, for a treat at the beginning of the meal order a pot of Ethiopian coffee, it take 30 minute to make and is a great way to end the meal.
