I like doing my take-offs in the Feet-Inch mode rather than a decimal setting. Can the Scale Master measure in a Feet-Inch setting?
A. Yes. The keystrokes are different according to which Scale Master you are using. With the Scale Master Classic, simultaneously press the [Subtract/Count] and [Mode] keys to toggle from a decimal ft. setting to feet-inches, or other measurement units (e.g., inches, yards, meters). If you are using the Scale Master II, press [Set] then [Mode] and then [Mode] again to change units (dec. ft., inches, yards, meters).
