I was told that Fat Injection did not work because the fat quickly absorbed – making it a non-permanent solution?
Dr. Roberts uses a completely different technique called Micro Fat Grafting, which from past patients has proven to be permanent. Dr. Roberts uses 1 or 2 tiny (1/8 inch) incisions, but carefully puts only tiny droplets of fat in hundreds of different levels throughout the desired area of the buttocks. This gives a very natural shape and feel to the buttocks. By putting only tiny amounts in each tunnel, this ensures that every particle of fat cells has healthy tissue around it to give it a good blood supply. (In the past, other doctors often injected a teaspoon or even a tablespoon – sized glob of liquid fat in one place. Only the outer rim of this glob could get a blood supply, so of course almost all of it was absorbed and disappeared.
